How far in advance should I book?
Ideally 2–4 weeks ahead, especially June–September and at the end of each month, when demand peaks. Small moves often need only a few days.
What if there is no lift, or the truck cannot park nearby?
You declare it in the survey and movers price it from the start. That is how "extra for stairs" on moving day disappears. If something was not declared correctly, an extra charge is allowed only with photo evidence and your approval.
Can the mover charge more than the quote?
Not unilaterally. The quote is binding. Extra charges are allowed only in predefined cases, e.g. access different from what was declared, with evidence and your approval inside the platform.
